Get Involved with Bill White for Texas
Do you want to work hard and make an impact on an innovative campaign, in a vital race, for a candidate you can believe in?
Bill White for Texas is currently accepting applications for unpaid opportunities in all aspects of our campaign. As a Bill White for Texas Fellow, Intern, or Deputy Field Organizer, you will be an integral part of our team to move Texas forward and gain practical political experience. Graduates of these programs are well prepared to assume a significant role on a future local campaign or run a local race of their own. At the end of the program, there may be opportunities for advancement within our campaign. Whether you're interested in a short term program or a long-term opportunity, please fill out the following application. Our campaign will be in touch with you soon.
- A Fellow, typically a recent college graduate or of college age, is someone who can dedicate at least 35 hours per week getting experience from working our campaign. Fellows take on vital roles that allow them to make substantive contributions.
- An Intern, ranging anywhere from high school to college age, spends at least 15 hours per week experiencing the daily operations of the campaign.
- A Deputy Field Organizer is on the front lines of this campaign, implementing our strategies, spreading Bill White's message, and organizing community meetings with voters and elected officials. This leadership role will require a great investment of your time.
Applicants for these programs should be:
- Willing to work hard to achieve goals
- Interested and involved in statewide politics
- Leaders within their own communities
- Capable of learning the technologies used in campaigns
- Strong in written and oral communication skills
These unpaid opportunities are available at our headquarters in Houston and across the state. We encourage you to apply, and look forward to having you as a member of our team!
